IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses the English language ability of the people who need to study or work in the countries where English is their first language. It uses nine-band scale to measure proficiency in four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. There are two categories of IELTS exam based on the purpose of migration: Academic and General Training
Academic
Individuals take this test to pursue post secondary education in an English-speaking country. It features academic language and evaluates a candidate’s readiness to begin his/her study or training in an international environment.
General Training
Individuals take this test to migrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK or apply for secondary education, training programs, and work experience in an English speaking environment. The test format is designed to evaluate the language abilities in everyday context.
